Hey there, my name is Max Franks and I am a Loan Originator by trade, overall decent human otherwise.
I have a friend who I helped purchase a home in early 2025. The seller of that home did not disclose issues with the well where they get their water. Since then, the well has stopped working and they are having to truck in water to their home in remote Arizona. He says it’s roughly $1,000 a month for the water. They are going through the proper channels legally to address the issue with the seller, not disclosing the well problems that they knew about. In the meantime, I’m trying to help this
A new well would cost about $27,000 and I am helping him raise funds so that he can get a new well dug.
I have a Google spreadsheet that is keeping track of every single donation.
I’ve been collecting donations via PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.
Our current balance is $2,292!
We even had one person donate $1,000!
At first, he did not want me to set up a GoFundMe, but then after I showed him what social media videos could do, he gave in. He is not one that would ask for help like this, so I took it upon myself to ask others because I believe in the positive power of social media.
He is a veteran, is married, and has two children. He works full-time. Unfortunately, with the way that his credit is from the past, he does not qualify for a loan for the well.
He doesn’t have enough equity built up in the house to pull from the house to fund the well either. So we are relying on the generosity of strangers.
Please help if you can.
If I can get 27,000 people to donate a dollar, we are good!
5,400 people to give five dollars? Goal achieved.
1,620 people giving $20? Done!
I think you get the point!
Thank you in advance for any donations that you can spare.
The people that this is for are Ryan, Jenn, and their two kids.
