Help Ryan & Michelle Rebuild After Recovery

Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother Ryan and his fiancée Michelle — two incredibly strong people who have been walking one of the hardest paths toward healing.

They are currently 8 months clean and completing separate recovery programs, committed to rebuilding their lives from the ground up. As heartbreaking as it’s been for them to be apart, they made the difficult but selfless decision to focus on their individual recoveries so that they could one day build a healthy life together.

Their story is one of resilience and love.

In December 2024, shortly after entering treatment, they lost everything — their car (which had become their home), their belongings, their clothes. With nothing left but each other and their will to change, they stepped into recovery with open hearts and no safety net.

Ryan’s story began at 16 when a horrific car accident nearly took his life and that of his girlfriend. He was prescribed Oxy during the height of the opioid epidemic, and like so many others, it led to a years-long battle with addiction. Over time, his health deteriorated from prolonged substance use — he’s faced blood clots, a pulmonary embolism, and other serious complications.

Michelle has been his rock. Despite her own chronic health issues, including rheumatoid arthritis, she’s worked tirelessly through pain and hardship. Her strength and belief in a better future have been nothing short of inspiring.

They made the decision to get clean not just for themselves, but so they could finally live the life they’ve dreamed of together. And I can honestly say: I’ve never seen my brother more serious, more clear-headed, or more hopeful than he is right now.

But the truth is — when they graduate from treatment, there is almost nothing waiting for them.

We want to change that.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help them start fresh:
• Clothing
• Hygiene and personal care items
• Essential supplies
• And most of all, we hope to raise enough to put toward a box van or RV so they can have a safe place to call home — something stable, something theirs.

If you’re in a position to give, any amount helps. If you’d prefer to donate clothing, toiletries, or other items directly, please feel free to reach out. Sharing this link is also a huge help.

Let’s show Ryan and Michelle that they’re not alone — that community, love, and second chances are real. ❤️

With gratitude,
the Meagher family
