Hello, everyone...

My name is Ryan and I am the younger brother of Derrick.

On August 4, Derrick sadly passed away. He passed away in the Philippines while being surrounded by family. His death has caught us all by surprise and even until now I still find it hard to believe.

Derrick is definitely 1 of 1. He was a very caring, kind hearted individual. He loved to show off his new gadgets so that he can see reactions, but seeing someone react happily, puts a smile to his face.

Everyone who knows him knows he had a love for cars and electronics. He wanted the latest technology. Cars were his passion. There's even an old family photo where he is holding a toy car.

There's more I want to say about Derrick, but it's going to be very difficult writing without shedding a tear.

I am creating this gofundme in hopes to help pay for funeral expenses and other needs. Close friends, acquaintances, Co workers and families have expressed their desire to help any way then can, so I feel this might help.
