Help Ryan and Amanda Overcome Life's Challenges

I am Amanda, and I'm a married mom of twin 14 year old girls. My husband is an amazing man named Ryan who came into our lives 2 years ago and changed them forever. Ryan is a teacher who beginning this year was a 4th grade teacher but spent his previous years as a Special Education teacher working in a Life Skills classroom. Which would alone be impressive but Ryan himself has Cerebral Palsy and has beaten the odds his whole life. He strives to be the advocate for his students he never had as a teacher. I have skeletal abnormalities which requires me to use a wheelchair to get around. This doesn't stop me from working as an instructional assistant with special education students and I am now going to school to also become a special education teacher. Ryan and I have been overcoming obstacles our whole lives.

Unfortunately, this past November just 12 days after our wedding, Ryan fell bringing flooring into the house and sustained a concussion that has left him with significant cognitive, vision, and hearing issues. He has yet to be able to return to work but thankfully has not suffered financially. However, the support financially does have a limit and Ryan is not yet ready to return to work. We had intended to utilize savings until he was healthy enough to return. On April 18th, the transmission of my modified van went and required a costly rebuild. This van is my only means of getting to my job and getting us all to our appointments. Given my needs ride-sharing is not an option. This rebuild is going to take up most of this savings leaving us in dire financial straits. Your assistance will help us cover the transmission repair and replenish what we have to spend to make it work in case Ryan is unable to return to work. We humbly and gratefully are seeking help as we have run out of options.
