On Monday, July 20th, the Villa Hernandez family's life changed forever when a powerful storm swept through the small town of Terlingua. In just moments, the Villa Hernandez home was reduced to rubble. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost everything.

The Villa Hernandez family—Rudy, Vanessa, and their two children, Rodolfo (13) and Estefania (8)—are now faced with the unimaginable task of starting over with nothing. Their home and all their belongings were destroyed. They are currently staying with relatives while trying to process the emotional and financial weight of this tragedy.
