Help Ruddy Muddy with van costs! Sponsor a name

I’m Abbi, a fan of Ricky Minns, better known as ‘Ruddy Muddy’ who creates amazing portraits and tributes on the back of his van. Well he did but as a struggling artist (both financially and with bouts of depression) he’s had to sell his old van. Which is, essentially, his canvas and a critical method of transport for him and his work too.

Ruddy would not ask for help himself, yet he tirelessly raises funds and awareness for so many other people and causes. He’s such a kind, talented, exceptional man who deserves a bit of kindness back.

He first started his amazing graffiti portraits in 2007 to protect his and other children from seeing rude pictures or words left in the dirt on his van. Ruddy’s work has been so amazing, he’s regularly featured in news items and can be spotted driving the streets of Norfolk - helping to raise awareness such as the NHS crisis, wars and conflicts plus painting celebrities who have sadly passed; Paul O’Grady, Michael Parkinson and Tina Turner to name just a few.
