Help Ruby Get Her First Car

Hi everyone,

Ruby just graduated high school, and I couldn’t be more proud of who she is. She’s artistic, smart, caring, and wise beyond her years. She has gone through more than any kid ever should, but she continues to show up for herself and for others every single day. She gives so much to the people around her, and I truly believe the world is better with her. ❤️

Over the past year, she’s been working at Chipotle and saving up for her first car. She’s hoping for something simple and reliable that can get her to and from work, help out with her younger brother, and contribute to our household in real ways.

When her older sister reached driving age, I was able to match what she saved and help her get a car. I had every intention of doing the same for Ruby . But I’ve been job searching for a long time, and right now, I just don’t have the extra funds to make it happen.

Ruby has done her part. She’s worked hard and saved what she could. I’m hoping to raise enough to match her savings so we can get her something dependable.

She plans to take a year off from school to work and help at home before heading to college. Having a car will give her the independence she’s earned and make a big difference in both her life and our family’s day-to-day.
