Help Ruben get back on the road

Hi Guys and Gals,

As some of you know, a loving member of our San Jose community has run into a rough patch this last month. Ruben is a friend to many of us, whether we are hanging out at the local coffee shop or hearing about his Uber-ing adventures.

Before recent events, Ruben has been beating the odds. Even with his father's passing, out-of-state funeral costs and his modest income as an Uber driver, he's been able to live within his means but not enough to save for a rainy day.

The storm has come in for Ruben. His Prius needs a new battery/charging system. With Uber's requirements, Ruben can't return to work until the issue is fixed, leaving him without a way to pay for the services required.

Friends of his are coming together to help get him back to work doing what he loves and making ends meet. The GoFundMe goal will also cover some minor auto body repair to meet the Lyft driver requirements.  Any donations would help and will be greatly appreciated by Ruben, his loved ones, and those who care about him.
