Help Ruben and Family Return Home
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Corina, and I’m reaching out to share my family’s story with you. Over the past few months, we’ve faced more challenges than we ever imagined, and now, we’re asking for your support during this difficult time.
It been hard to hold on our grieving of the passing of one baby twin and keep going in life because our kids need us.
In November 2024, I moved to Austin from El Paso with my twin baby, hoping for the best care possible at Dell Children’s Hospital. My son, Ruben, is still in the hospital receiving care, and every day has been a battle.
I also have two older children, JJ and Evalina, who are currently in El Paso with their godmother. They’ve been a source of strength and love for me, even from far away. As their parents, my husband and I have been doing everything we can to stay strong for them and for Ruben, but it’s been overwhelming.
As we approach the end of Ruben’s time at Dell Children’s, my husband and I are preparing to return to El Paso, where our home and family are. While we are in a financial crisis, we could really use some help as we navigate these last steps of Ruben’s recovery and transition back home.
Ruben’s surgery care continue, and the costs of traveling back to El Paso will be significant. We’re doing our best to stay afloat, but it’s been incredibly tough to carry everything.
If you’re able to donate, it would mean so much to me and my family. Your support will help cover the costs of our move back to El Paso and settling back in our feet. With this situation we had to sale and donate all our furniture and even my husband work truck before coming to Austin. Your support will provide a little peace of mind as we heal and move forward. Most of all, I just want to focus on my children, especially Ruben, and ensure they have everything they need during this time.
Your kindness, whether through a donation or simply sharing our story, would mean the world to us. I believe with the support of compassionate people like you, we can get through this and start to heal.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are deeply grateful for your love and support.
