Help RU Sangam Keep South Indian Culture Alive!

RU Sangam is a Rutgers University Student Organization dedicated to spreading awareness about South Indian culture on campus. For many, Sangam provides a sense of community and comfort, serving as a home away from home and celebrating our love of our heritage. Our organization increases cultural awareness and creates a vibrant community for students from diverse backgrounds.

This year, we urgently need help from the community to fundraise. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Rutgers University has drastically cut our funding. Without additional funds, we cannot continue hosting our beloved events, both small and large. We typically hold two major events throughout the school year, one in the fall and the other in the spring, along with several smaller gatherings.

Our events are enjoyed among the student community, not only by those of South Indian descent but also by a variety of students and others who find comfort and connection within the community we create. The popularity of our club has grown significantly, with increasing student participation every year across the university. To continue our mission and make our events possible, our club requires at least $5,000 in funding.
