It’s time to stand with these students.
After the passing of Charlie Kirk, a group of students at Royal Oak High School came together to start a Turning Point USA chapter - a space for open dialogue, leadership and truth.
Before they could even hold their first meeting, chaos erupted. Protests, walkouts and threats flowed from the "inclusive" crowd targeting students and teachers who dared to think differently.
- The news targeted them (dozens of news articles flowed from the walkouts condemning TPUSA as a hate group and celebrating the protestors);
- The "inclusive" group took to social media to harass and threaten the group (@evil.tpusa.rohs, etc. - really too many to list);
- The group took to threaten and harass the teacher supporters calling for their jobs;
- Members houses we vandalized;
- The original ROHS TPUSA Instagram page that held only a single post announcing the groups inception and first meeting information had to be taken down after it was inundated with thousands of messages of threats and hate.
But these young leaders aren't backing down. They're standing for what's right.
