Roy participated in the USAW Greco Roman Central Regional Championships in Ft. Wayne Indiana. By placing runner up in this tournament, Roy punched his ticket to compete in the US Marine Corps Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND.

This is without a doubt a great opportunity, but it comes with a great cost. We are raising $1600 to cover Roy's week-long camp, travel, room & board, and participation fees for the tournament. This is Roy's 4th time competing in the US Marine Corps National Championship and he is looking to represent Beat the Streets Chicago, Hope Academy, and St Sabina.

Roy has proved to be one of the top wrestlers in Illinois this previous season by starting on the varisty wrestling team for Hope Academy, participating in the IHSA Sectional, and placing runner up in the IHSA state Championship but this is an opportunity for him to show that he is one of the top wrestlers in the country.
