Hi my name is Rita and I’m fundraising for my sister Rosie. She recently moved to Hawaii and purchased a small piece of undeveloped land with the idea of clearing it to build a small house for her and her dog to live in. She contracted with a local contractor to clear the land and this man took her money and left her high and dry. He lied about the work he was doing, sent false pictures of cleared land that turned out to not be of her property and ultimately stopped returning her calls. She is now doing what she can to seek restitution but it’s not an easy process and her entire savings is gone.
