Jack and I are finally getting married!

Planning even a simple wedding seems to be a costly undertaking, and while we are doing our best to make it as simple and barebones as possible, expenses are adding up quickly. We have chosen to get married in Gibraltar because it is significantly faster and far less costly than going through a fiancé visa for either the UK or the US. However, this means we are unable to celebrate with our families due to general financial difficulties and my grandfather's health conditions. Our financial situation is further strained because I provide full-time care for my grandparents and, unfortunately, Florida does not offer financial assistance for family caregivers. This means that we are living on tightly limited funds, making it difficult to cover these essential expenses on our own.

More importantly, securing Jack's citizenship is a vital step in ensuring our future together. The legal fees, application costs, and related expenses are significant, but they are necessary for stability, security, and building our life together.

We will be using any and all donations for our travel expenses for the wedding and Jack becoming a citizen of the United States, covering legal fees, application costs, and necessary documentation.
