Rose is a 49-year-old woman facing some of the toughest challenges anyone could imagine. Her father is dying of cancer, and she has nowhere stable to live. For months, Rose has been moving from place to place, relying on the kindness of others to get by. Sometimes, people have given her just enough money for a hotel room, but it’s never enough to feel secure. She receives disability, but it barely covers her basic needs. There have been days when Rose hasn’t eaten, and her family can only share what little they have. On top of everything, Rose struggles to walk and get around, making it even harder for her to access help.

I am starting this fundraiser because I can’t stand to see Rose go without food, medical care, or a safe place to stay. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping her get back on her feet.
