Chowe! This is Muysccubun, the language of my ancestors the Muisca people. My name is Rosa Blumenfeld-Romero and I am building Santuario Romero, A Decolonization Retreat Center and Traditional Herbal Medicine School. In February, 2025, I put down a deposit to purchase a plot of land in Boyaca, Colombia which is where my mother’s side of the family is from.
