Help Ronnie Register Heal and Rebuild

Hello,

My name is Jessica and I am starting this fundraiser for my other half, Ronnie Register. To help with medical bills also help with our bills that we still need to pay wether he is working or not On December 11, 2024, I was notified by one of the scariest phone calls I have ever received in my life. He had been shot twice and was in the hospital. He had tried to save some other people from being hurt and robbed. He is currently in UNC Chapel Hill awaiting brain surgery for a cerebral spinal fluid leak and some facial reconstruction due to him being shot in the face. He has a bullet fragment lodged in his right eye muscle along with bone fragments and will not regain his eyesight in his right eye. They had to do a lumbar drain due to the cerebral spinal leak (brain fluid was leaking from the bullet wound in the middle of his face). The second bullet wound was through his left thigh, which was a through and through. He is the breadwinner, and we are looking at these exorbitant medical fees along with long-term care and all our bills that will need to be paid in the interim.

Also, because of his background, he is being treated as the perpetrator, not the person who risked life and limb to save people that he only just met trying to install a security system to make money for his family. So, we are also looking at some legal fees that we cannot afford.

This will forever be the worst Christmas and best Christmas we have ever endured. The only reason it would be the best Christmas is because God chose not to call his number yet.
