Last year a delegation including myself, met the family of Rom, we heard their life story. He has divorced parents living in the lower socio- economic status. The family took additional jobs on to cover the rising costs of family separation. It was never enough.

Now they are living through an unbearable nightmare, they are unable to work.

On their behalf, we as a community can help release the burden of the financial instability.

For almost 700 days, Rom Braslavski has been trapped in the darkness of THE tunnels...

Recently a video was released, Rom is crying, his voice is trembling, his body is frail, his spirit is shattered. He has lost an immense amount of weight, he is barely recognisable. His shallow eyes show a young man, desperate, exhausted, too close to hopeless.

For his family, every second of that video was unbearable. The pain of seeing their son, brother, loved one in agony, will never leave them.

They live each day in fear - what he is enduring now and of what the future may hold.

This ordeal has taken everything from them. The emotional strain has made daily life almost impossible. Their financial stability has collapsed. Your support will ease their burden, it will help 'our' family to cover their essentials; overdue bills, and food. Basic needs that have become overwhelming under the shadow of this nightmare.

They cannot do this alone.
