My name is Roczen and I am from a small town in Iowa. I started riding a stacyc when he was 2 and had a natural enjoyment of riding from day one. At age 4 I started racing a PW 50 and we have not looked back! I'm now 6 and competed this year in every race of the Iowa Moto series while taking home 2nd overall in the JR 4-6. Next year I plan to attend as many national races as we can including area qualifiers, regionals, and ultimately my dream is to race on the big stage at Loretta’s. I am very dedicated and ride 2-4 days a week at local private tracks. My family works very hard to support my racing and riding.
My dad found this bike online for sale from what appeared to be a reputable seller. It was a brand new cobra FWE, never started. I was beyond excited to get a bike I would be growing into the next class with. Unfortunately the situation has come about after my father reached out to cobra with the vin number and finding out that months ago this bike was stolen from a family. The guy I bought it from is not who stole it but he is not helping at all with this situation. I cannot imagine the hurt it caused this child whose bike was stolen. Feeling this way I am doing what I would want done and making sure the original kid gets his bike back. By doing so, this bike is being taken away from me and my family.

My son will be so crushed when I tell him what happened. I know him being such a good kid will understand and want to get the bike back to the kid who it was stollen from but will be sad at the same time as he will be without this bike. I wish I were in a position to just buy another one of these and think nothing of it but that is not the case. We are now out the money we spent on the bike and inevitably out the bike. I have been in open communication with the family who's bike it is and they have agreed to let us try and gather the money to replace Roczens bike, as they know too well the heart break of a child having something they love taken away from them, and having to break such bad news. Motocross is a small yet strong community, and we hope that we can raise the funds with some help to make this horrible situation end as best it can.
