Help Rochelle Rebuild After Hurricane Helene Flooding

Story

We are reaching out to support our sister/daughter/mother/friend/cousin, Rochelle Reich and her two sons Logan (17 - high school senior) and Alex (21 - college senior), who lost everything to Hurricane Helene that decimated Asheville, NC, and so many other cities in the Southeast. Rochelle and the boys are safe and currently staying with friends as she, and so many others, face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives and community in the wake of the storm. Rochelle's apartment flooded so high that the ceiling collapsed. Unfortunately, without flood insurance, it isn't guaranteed that she will be able to recoup her losses, so we are trying to assist with funds for temporary housing and basic supplies such as clothing, food, toiletries, etc. Every dollar will go to Rochelle and her boys. She has given so much of her time and herself to all of us, it's now time for us to give back to her! Her safe haven is her community, and we are so thankful she has friends and family members that she can turn to. Rochelle has worked for the JCC and now is now a Jewish community leader at Beth Israel Synagogue in Asheville. We appreciate anything and everything you can give. If you can't donate, then please share on your social media. In the future, please be on the lookout, as once she is able to secure temporary housing, we will assist her in creating a registry for basic household needs. This gofundme campaign is being organized by Dina Lomagno (step sister) and Alyce Phinney (sister).
