On November 2nd, I will run 26.2 miles in the New York City Marathon. I'm so excited to have the privilege of doing so on behalf of an amazing organization, Artists Athletes Activists (aka ROCC NYC). My goal is to raise at least $3,000 for their cause.

ROCC NYC connects the most vulnerable New Yorkers to the resources, opportunities and communities they need to thrive here. With partnerships across a multitude of trusted organizations citywide, they build bridges connecting people to a caring support network, creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and included.

Your donation will help to assist marginalized and underserved communities all over New York City. Since 2022, ROCC NYC has welcomed over 3000 buses of migrants and asylum seekers and connected over 100,000 individuals to key services such as shelter, food access, medical care, education, and legal support. Additionally, they have assisted in the release of 400 asylees from ICE detention centers and successfully reunited them with family.
