Hi, my name is Alicia Bailey, and I am raising funds for my best friend, Robin.

On June 30, 2026, Robin was involved in a devastating accident in Bay Minette, Alabama. While driving home from work during a severe thunderstorm, a large tree fell onto her car, crushing it and trapping her inside for hours until rescuers were able to free her.

Robin suffered catastrophic injuries, including eight broken ribs, two broken arms, a broken leg, and extensive skin injuries. She has already undergone multiple surgeries to treat these injuries, with many more procedures still ahead of her. She is also facing a long and challenging rehabilitation process as she works to regain her independence.

Because of her injuries, Robin will be unable to work for an extended period. Along with the loss of income, she is facing overwhelming medical expenses and the ongoing costs of maintaining her home and daily living expenses. In addition, her home will likely require repairs and accessibility modifications to safely accommodate her needs when she is able to return home from rehabilitation. These unexpected expenses have placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on Robin, her family, and everyone who loves her.

Our initial fundraising goal is **$10,000**, but this is only a starting point and may be adjusted as Robin's medical, rehabilitation, and home accessibility needs become clearer. Every dollar donated will go directly toward helping Robin cover her medical bills, household expenses, home repairs, accessibility modifications, and other essential costs while she is unable to work.

Robin lives alone with her beloved cats and has no immediate family nearby. Her family lives in Birmingham and has been traveling back and forth to be with her and help care for her during this incredibly difficult time.

Anyone who knows Robin knows what a compassionate, generous, and selfless person she is. She has always been the first to help others without expecting anything in return. When she purchased her home, she opened it to an elderly friend who had no family in the area, providing him with a safe and caring place to live until he passed away last year. Robin also dedicates countless hours to caring for stray and abandoned cats throughout Baldwin County, always putting the needs of others—both people and animals—ahead of her own.

Now, Robin is the one who needs our help.

We are deeply grateful for your prayers, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult chapter of Robin's life. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help ease the financial burden she is facing as she focuses on healing and recovery. If you're unable to donate at this time, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks would mean just as much.

Every prayer, every share, and every contribution brings Robin one step closer to recovery.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, compassion, and support. Robin's accident
