Help Robin Receive a Heart Transplant

Hi Everyone!

My brother Robin is currently in the ICU at Queen's Medical Center. He has been through rigorous tests for his weak heart over the past year. Through the many tests, the physicians discovered that he had prostate cancer. Being that he had cancer he was unable to get onto the donor list for a heart transplant, He made a crucial decision to remove his prostate in hopes of cleaning out all cancer cells. The surgery was a success, but his heart took an enormous hit. It rapidly declined to the point of a 10% Ejection Rate. He is not in a condition that will allow him to leave the hospital. He is hopeful to make it to the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona. He has to travel through medavac along with a team to care for him on the flight. Once there, he still needs to go through tests and scans to confirm that all cancer is gone. Once he clears these tests, he will be put onto a donor list as a category 2 heart recipient. He will need to live in Arizona for 6-8 months after the transplant. We are raising funds to assist with living assistance there and his mortgage here in Hawaii. He will need a place to rent in Arizona as well as a vehicle to take him to his appointments after the transplant, Most of all, we need your prayers for complete healing. As of today, there is not a firm date as to when he will leave Hawaii.. There needs to be an available bed for him in order to go there. Each day that passes, puts more strain on his heart. The stress of caring for his family as well as his expenses in Arizona, has caused him much stress and effects the function of his heart.
