My Aunt Roberta Kasey has spent most her life helping her siblings and taking care of her nieces, and nephews and being a caregiver for her father, and mother and her sibling during their time of health issues over the last few decades, without having a chance to take time to have her home repairs done to her home.

So, after her sister passed away two years ago after lengthy illness, she had to move-in with family members, until we had the opportunity to have her home inspection done and the damage was to severe damage due to many winter storms, outdated electrical, and plumbing, the damage was too severe and the home had to be torn down.

She was able to purchase a singlewide and had placed on the property, but after that she did not have any more money. My Aunt Roberta 73 is on fixed income. Her single-wide needs to have electrical, plumbing, hvac system, two decks and skirting completed on the home in order for her to be able to move into her home.

Unfortunately, the cost of the installations is far beyond what we can manage right now – the estimates are electrical $4,850, heat pump $6,862, plumbing $5,463, vinyl skirting $ 3,000, 5 x 5 deck $2,000, and 4 x 8 deck $2,500 to ensuring everything, meets, safety codes and her building permit expires in May 2026.

We are reaching out for help because this is not just about convenience, it is about having my Aunt Roberta back settled in her home, instead her worrying about where she will be stay. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring her closer to a safe, functional home.
