Hello, my name is Robert Reany. I’m 35 years old. I work full-time night shift at GFS. AVD division. I live in a four bedroom house in West Virginia. I consider myself a hard-working family man because I was divorced with two kids from a previous marriage that I’ve lost custody of and haven’t been able to see or talk to in over five years because the caretaker. I am a recovering drug addict who has been clean and sober off of methamphetamine since July 3, 2023 and here’s my story back in 2018. Me and their biological mother got divorced. The reason we split up is because I wouldn’t argue in front of the kids anymore. She didn’t like that very much but I know the kids don’t deserve to see their parents arguing kids don’t deserve that. Long story short she took the kids with her and signed them over to her mothers care. I was miserable so I stayed in the active addiction stage during my drug usage. But in 2023 I checked into rehab went to treatment and sober living the treatment center I checked into was access Dayton hospital. I was there for 30 days before I went to my next destination on my sobriety. I went to a PHP which stands for partial hospitalization program through an amazing recovery service called Full Circle. I then went to Bluffington Ohio and spent 28 days there isolated with other drug addicts who were seeking help after graduating that I then went on to sober living and I moved to Steubenville Ohio. This all took place over the past five years. I graduated Full Circle and I’ve got plenty of diplomas and I’ve got plenty of old drug screens to show that I have been cleaning and sober. I have turned my whole life around for these kids. My son has finally reached out to me and can only talk to me secretly. And has personally told me that he can’t take it there anymore. I got remarried to my wife Hannah. She’s an amazing woman and she has a son of her own name Michael and he’s an amazing son of mine. I love them both to death just like I love my two kids to death. I hate to ask cause it hurts my pride but I finally have a chance to take him back to court for custody and FINALLY be able to see my kids again! I just don’t have the money all up front because of bills and day to day living and it’s hard. I can hire David Washington and take them back to court because my kids deserve to have their father in their lives. I just need help getting the money together please I’m just a recovering drug addict who ruined his life, but turned it around in hopes of a better future for myself and my kids and my sobriety .
