My name is Robert, and I’m reaching out for help for myself and my mother. In November, I lost my job after my car broke down, and things quickly spiraled from there. By December, we were evicted from our home. I used the last of our money to get us into a motel, but now we can’t afford even that, and we’ve been sleeping on the streets for several weeks. It’s been incredibly hard, especially with my mother’s health issues—she has problems with her back and hands, which makes everything even more challenging.

Any and all donations will help us have a safe motel room to stay in for the rest of the holidays and will help us get food, as we haven’t eaten in three days. Your support could also help with transportation so I can find another job and hopefully get us back on our feet. I want nothing more than to take care of my mother and give her the comfort and security she deserves.
