I met Robert over 5 years ago when he was homeless and living in a tent under the freeway by my house. Robert was determined to improve his life and turn things around for himself. He got a job at Kroger and has been there almost 5 years now. Robert never misses a day of work, always works hard, is always early, and was the first Employee of the Month chosen in 2021.
Robert is 67 years old and has a bad knee that has been hurting him for several years. The doctor showed us on the x-ray how the cartilage is gone and the knee is rubbing bone on bone. Robert needs a knee replacement.
Fortunately, Medicare covers almost all the expense of the surgery, but there are some incidentals and deductibles that are not covered. He needs an MRI and EKG which are not covered. Robert needs help with these expenses. They should total around $1,500.
This is a huge opportunity for Robert. With a new knee, Robert will be able to continue working and living the life he has come to love and enjoy.
Please help if you can.
