On 6/11, a devastating fire swept through the apartment complex where my son’s father, Rob, and his wife, Vanessa, lost everything and where my son also called home. The fire displaced about 20 families, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. In an instant, their lives were turned upside down, and they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.
