Help Riley realize her dreams of independence
Donation protected
As many of you know Riley had a kidney transplant almost a year ago. She was all ready to go back to work as a supervisor at Thrifty’s foods when Covid hit. Riley’s specialists say she can’t work as she wouldn’t be able to keep 6 feet distance from her staff and customers; and her immune compromised status puts her at increased risk of getting very ill or perhaps dying of covid.
Riley is extremely happy that she was lucky enough to be the recipient of a kidney and to be given this new lease on life. She feels great, but she can’t work right now. She was able to take advantage of CERB, but after CERB was discontinued she is now unable to access any other financial programs. Riley wants to go back to school (virtually) in January to become a dental receptionist and needs financial help to do this. Current circumstances mean we are unable to give her the financial support that we would want.
I created this go fund me page after a lot of discussion with Riley and our family. It’s hard to ask for help given so many people are not doing well right now, but I’m now asking for all of your assistance to help Riley realize her dream of becoming a dental receptionist in a career that will hopefully provide her more protection from the virus and be a launching pad to bigger and better opportunities in the future.
We would be eternally grateful for your support.
Thanks,
Allison, Christian and Riley
