Help Right This Wrong for Bailey and Remington!

Top image is Bailey and Remington, the middle 2 are Remington, and the 3rd image, is Bailey, her husband Coleton, and Remington.
This campaign is for my daughter Bailey and her son, Remington. She was recently in court to gain permission from her ex to move to Arkansas to live with her husband. But the judge ruled against her and granted the ex’s outrageous custody requests. We have to appeal the decision, because it means that Bailey will miss half of her son’s life for the next two years and then after that, she will only see him on weekends as the judge ordered that he go to school from the ex’s home, in Missouri.
The ex is not Remington’s birth-father, but is in a custody agreement with Bailey and as such, has the power to grant or deny permission for her and Remington to move. Bailey tried mediation and offered concessions but the ex still refused to agree to relocation. Because of that it had to go to court. Because Bailey moved to Arkansas before she had permission, (her attorney gave her some very bad advice regarding this) the judge had no choice but to rule against her for relocation, but he (in our opinion) overreached in his changing of custody the way he did. We were all stunned. The other lawyers we consulted are stunned. We feel this is wrong.
We have to fight this! It is more than a heartbroken mother that is being persecuted disproportionately for the bad choice she made. We feel this is putting Remington in a dangerous situation. We are not at liberty to discuss the potential danger in such a public way as this fundraiser, but I promise you we feel that the danger is real and terrifying to those of us that love this adorable little boy. Bailey can offer him so much more beyond physical safety, too. She is married to a wonderful man that adores Remington, and in a stable home where she is able to care for him with consistency in a safe environment with lots of fresh air and dirt and pets and wide-open spaces; all the things a little boy needs and deserves.
We need your help. Hiring a new attorney, one that specializes in appeals, is a very expensive proposition. This is one of those cases where you definitely get what you pay for. Plus, there are court costs and filing fees to add to the mix. Should there be more money donated that we need, any excess will be donated to The Lafayette House, a local battered women’s shelter.
Here’s what we are asking for from you:
1. Please pray. Pray for what is best for Remington as well as for peace for Bailey and wisdom for the lawyers and judges. Share this prayer request with anyone that you think will pray, as well as in your churches and social media and home groups. Prayer is a mighty tool, please help us use it.
2. Please share this campaign on all of your social media. Multiple times. You never know who is going to see it. I will be posting updates and info as we go, but sharing is another powerful tool.
3. Please donate if you can. Every little bit helps. I know that is a great big number up there, but it is obtainable if we all work together and take it bit by bit. We can accept PayPal and Facebook money transfer if you prefer to donate that way. Feel free to contact me (Deb Seely) on Facebook to find out how. We will be updating as we go along so you can see where your generous donations are being used. Having a knowledgeable, passionate and expert legal representation is the final powerful tool, but it takes lots of help to gain.
Thank you for sticking with me to the end of this, I know I am long-winded. I just ask that you put yourself in Bailey’s position and do what you can to help. Thanks again, and God bless!
