I've been dreading this possibility for 5 years. Whether you know my husband as Luis, Rico, or Junior, one thing is for sure, he is the most amazing person I know, and I know there's many more people who feel the same way. He's confronted cancer and all that comes with it head on for the past 5 years. So bravely and courageously. We've lived such a beautiful life together, despite his illness. He has been such a blessing to me. My dream come true. My soul mate. He has shown me and our girls, what true love and commitment is.

Unfortunately, we've come to a crossroad we hoped to never meet. Continue with curative treatments or spend as much time at home with our family as possible. He's made the decision to go home, be comfortable, and be surrounded with love for as long as God blesses us with. If only it were that simple, but life, responsibilities, and expenses don't care about any of that. I've created this GoFundMe to hopefully ease some of the weight and worry from our shoulders, so that we can focus on what's most important. Spending our time together at home.
