Help Ricki get a Revolutionary Ride!
Donation protected
Peace All,
This is Kim Brown, Host of Burn It Down With Kim Brown, & co-contributor of BPM on Youtube.
I'm asking for your help to assist to a revolutionary sister get a much-needed vehicle for her work. Erica Caines (aka Ricki Ryan) is on the coordinating commttiee for The Black Alliance For Peace, and a co-editor for Hood Communist. In addition to her organizing & writing, Ricki also does in-person teach-ins with students and other community groups throughout the Baltimore-Washington DC-area...and she does all of this while utilizing a network of comrade rides & pricey ride-shares.
Can we help to get Ricki a vehicle?
(For clarity, I asked her permission to launch this campaign. This was not a request of Ricki's)
For all the liberatory work she does for Black folks here, plus other Africans globally--that work would be facilitated more easily with her own vehicle. Commuting sixty to one hundred miles in this region in one day, from event to event, can be the norm. The goal here is to lessen the burden on a Black woman, mother, & organizer.
Funding Breakdown: $3,500 for auction price max amonut
$1,000 for Title, tags, & auto insurance
$500 for Initial On-site Diagnostic, vehicle inspection, repair, & maintenance.

This fundraiser will be rolling all summer, so any amount you can give is received with deep gratitude. Ricki's birthday is in early August. It would be super-cool to hit our target by or before then! Thank You in advance!
