Thank you for your help: See Update Fundraiser for Richard
Donation protected
For an update to this story, see Updates. My brother Richard Crocker experienced a pet tragedy recently. He was in front of his house in the village of Westminster West talking to the Town Manager about moving the "Speed Limit 25" signs further towards Saxtons River, so the frontage of his property where he keeps his sheep is covered by the speed limit. His beloved miniature Australian Shepherd, Zhou Zhou was playing around him. Not two minutes after the Town Manager left, a truck came barreling down the hill. Still a long way off, Richard motioned for the driver to slow down, to no avail. Zhou Zhou was hit and killed. Richard adored that little dog and is heart broken. Zhou Zhou was emotionally supportive and a best friend to Richard. This accident comes on the heels of the death of our mother. Richard was my mom's primary caregiver. He stopped his full-time work to care for her over the last six months. Because he stopped work to care for Mom, his savings are low and will not support buying, or even adopting a new puppy right now - having to start over from scratch. Richard does want to find another mini Aussie. Would you like to help Richard? I've set the goal at a median price for a new pure-bred puppy including shots, neutering, etc. If there is any overage, we will donate it to the Windham County Humane Society. Thank you, in advance, for considering this request.
