My name is Hemal Vyas, and I learnt about The Richard Family plight when he got admitted into a psychiatrist hospital due to depression after losing his job and entire household that he had in Canada as a result of the unfortunate cruel deportation.
I’ve known Richard from the caregiving work he always offered by taking care of those facing homelessness and drug addiction in Calgary. Richard was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, and his presence is deeply missed.
Richard leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and warmth that touched everyone he encountered. I really do feel Richard does not deserve to go through the cruel living conditions he is in at the moment.
Richard has spent several years in Canada as a political asylum running for his dear life but was recently deported back to the same country where he initially faced life threatening challenges.
The Richard Family is currently living in the most painful abject poverty, after losing his job in Canada and going into depression; even affording basic shelter and food for the young family is a nightmare for them.
The Richard Family is now hawking food on the insecure streets and on bad days, he is forced to beg for survival after several unsuccessful attempts to secure gainful employment due to political insecurity and backlash, corruption and high rate of unemployment. He does not want to feed his family by continuing to rely on cash handouts forever from the mercy of friends and relatives
This GoFundMe page is set up to assist Richard’s Family dramatically benefit from the food restaurant business they intend to start up as a family with the proceeds of fundraising to help them with:
• Business set up costs
• medical treatment,
• Childcare and support for their children.
• Rent (shelter), medical costs, utilities, and daily living expenses.
• School fees for their young boys whom already dropped out of school back to school again.
Your support and contributions are greatly appreciated as we stand with Richard’s family and continue his legacy of spreading love and kindness to all. Every contribution, no matter how small, will indeed help ease their financial pain.
Richard kindly asks and would be incredibly grateful to receive any donations to help his family.
Any amount will help and if you're not able to donate, sharing absolutely helps too.
I appeal that you please share this campaign and keep Richard's family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
