Help Rhonda!

I want to ask you to consider lending a helping hand to my friend Rhonda. I know there are lots of requests out there for help – and lots of people going through hard times. But many of us are blessed to have a little extra that we can share – and if you are in that position, I would like to ask you to help Rhonda Cornett-Williams. I met Rhonda while teaching overseas for the Department of Defense Education Activity. Rhonda, a single mom of an adorable 8 year old boy, had previously served her country in the Army. She went on to become a GREAT teacher – and she has taught children all over the world. In 2012 Rhonda had a choice: she could keep her great job overseas or she could return to the States to help her mother who was going through cancer treatments. Rhonda chose family. Unfortunately, she was not able to obtain a job in Kentucky that could allow her to meet her needs as well as keep up on her mother’s house payments. She traveled to other states to find teaching positions. She worked in the inner cities helping children who had almost nothing – but teachers do not make much. Her mother passed from cancer in 2015. In the meantime, she has lost nearly all her possessions and is now struggling to keep her mother’s house from foreclosure. She currently is working as a waitress, but would like to create a home-based business providing respite care to parents who need a break. She needs to be able to keep the house to make this dream come true. Rhonda is a proud woman who will not ask for help herself. But I will ask for help for her. She has given so much to so many little children the world over. She has given to her friends and family. And now she needs people to help her. If you can, please consider helping my friend Rhonda save her mom’s home. Thank you!
