Help Reyna who tragically passed from the Lapu Lapu event

Hi family and friends,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for the family of my dear friend, Reyna Dela Peña, who tragically passed away on April 26, 2025.

On the night of the Vancouver Lapu Lapu Festival, I was with Reyna, enjoying the event together. Reyna had asked me to watch her kids on the side before the food truck closed, while she walked towards one of the food trucks on her own. It was then that the tragic incident occurred.

This has been absolutely devastating for all of us. In the meantime, I am watching over her two sons, making sure they’re safe and supported while everything is being sorted out. Our hearts are broken, and we’re doing everything we can to take care of them during this incredibly difficult time.

Reyna was a loving mother and a great friend who worked tirelessly to support her two sons on her own. She dedicated herself to giving them the best life possible, and she always put them first.

I ask you all to please help support Reyna’s family during this time. Your donations will help bring her back to her family in the Philippines and help support her two sons. Any amount you can contribute will make a difference.
