Help Revive the Lutheran Community Camp Pool Area
Donation protected
Hi everyone. My name is Daniel Montanez, and I am a Life Scout from Troop 723, Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I am on the path to become an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program.
I've been in scouting since I was 6 years old, and as a Scout, I’ve had the opportunity to serve my community. Outside the Scouts, I am a senior student and play soccer. During the last few months, I have been working towards earning my Eagle Scout rank and have finally reached the fundraising step. Fundraising is crucial in this process because it allows me as a young leader to connect with my community and discover new ways to fundraise for it.
My Eagle Scout Project consists of refurbishing and working to improve the Eduardo Roig Lutheran Camp pool area. This camp serves not only members of the Lutheran Church but also the community. Currently, the area needs to be cleaned with a pressure washer, requires painting, and a lighting system for use after sunset.
To make a positive impact at camp and contribute to the community, the area will be cleaned with a pressure washer, and then the walls around the pool will be painted. Finally, a lighting system will be installed at strategic points to illuminate the pool at night as a safety measure.
My goal is to raise funds to pay for the materials and supplies necessary to complete my project. I would be very grateful to receive financial help to fulfill my goal. The estimated cost of the project is $1,000.
Thank you so much for your consideration and support of my Eagle Scout project.
