Hi! My name is Sabrina Bunkeut; Sam’s youngest daughter.

A couple of weeks ago, our dad was taken into ICE custody. Our family is heartbroken and overwhelmed, trying to navigate a legal process we never imagined we’d face. We were told that securing a good immigration lawyer could be very costly. Even after putting together everything that we can possibly afford, it is simply not enough.

Our dad has been there for us no matter the circumstances. He has always shown up for his loved ones the best way possible, and he would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need.

We are asking for support from our family and friends to give our dad a fighting chance to be reunited with us. Any amount, no matter how small brings us closer to bringing our dad home.
