Rosa has been a part of our Texas community since she was just three years old. She is a devoted mother to two young children, Ana (4 months) and Oliver (5 years), and has always worked tirelessly to give them the best life possible. Rosa’s dedication is unmatched—she worked long hours every day, never asking for help, always focused on providing for her family. Her absence has left a huge void, especially for her children, who miss her deeply. Oliver, the oldest, hasn’t smiled since she’s been gone.

Three weeks ago, Rosa went to a court hearing in Texas and never returned home. She is now being held in Louisiana by ICE, and we are facing the heartbreaking possibility that she could be sent to El Salvador, far from her children and the only home she’s ever known. I am now caring for Ana and Oliver, along with my own two children. The cost of food, childcare, and daily needs has doubled, and despite picking up extra shifts at work, I am struggling to keep up. Most urgently, we need help covering legal fees to fight for Rosa’s release and reunite her with her children.
