Our family is going through an incredibly heartbreaking and overwhelming situation, and we are reaching out for support during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. My grandmother is currently being detained by immigration, despite having no criminal record and always living a quiet, honest life. She has never been a threat to anyone and has always stayed out of trouble, focusing only on her family and the life she has built here. We followed the immigration process exactly as instructed, trusting that doing everything the right way would lead to a fair outcome. Instead, she was taken from her family and separated from the people who love and depend on her most.

Her detention has caused immense emotional pain for our entire family. Watching her be taken away so suddenly has left us feeling powerless, frightened, and heartbroken. On top of the emotional toll, we are now facing unexpected legal expenses, and other financial burdens as we fight for her release and work to bring her back home where she belongs.
