Help Reunite Our Family- Parents Detained by ICE

Hi, my name is Deisy, and I am the eldest of five siblings. I come to you with a heavy heart, asking for your help during this difficult time in our lives.

On the morning of Wednesday, June 25, our parents, Lucas and Yesenia, were detained by ICE on their way to work—without warning or probable cause. They were taken from us suddenly, and since that moment, we’ve been trying to hold everything together as best we can.

They left behind five children—the youngest being just 8 and 13 years old. As the oldest, I’ve taken on the responsibility of caring for my younger siblings. While I’m so deeply grateful to be here for them, it pains me to say that the emotional and financial weight of this situation is too much to carry alone.

Our parents came to this country with nothing but hope and the determination to build a better life for us. Over the years, they built a home full of love, sacrifice, and hard work. In a single moment, and without remorse, that stability was taken away from us.

If you know my parents, you know they are kindhearted, hardworking, and selfless people. They are not criminals. They are devoted parents who have always put their children and loved ones first. I can’t imagine a life where my siblings are forced to grow up without the love, guidance, and support of our parents. No child should have to experience that kind of loss. Now, more than ever, they need our help—and we need yours.

We are raising funds to hire an immigration attorney who can fight for their release and help bring them both home to us.
