My name is Crystal, and I am reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life. My mother, my daughter, and I are currently homeless due to a domestic situation that forced us to leave our home. I have done everything I can to keep us safe, including taking out a loan to try to secure a place to live. Unfortunately, because of our bad credit, we've had no choice but to stay in a weekly rental that is very expensive just for food, gas, and a roof over our heads. My savings are running out fast, and every week it gets harder to make ends meet.

Recently, I finally received a call that could change everything—a landlord is willing to give us a chance to move into a home. But the move-in costs are overwhelming. They require first and last month's rent plus a security deposit, and while I have some funds left, the total needed is much higher. I am doing everything I can, but I simply can't cover the rest on my own.

Moving into this new home would mean the world to my family. Right now, my daughter is staying with a friend so she doesn't have to live in a hotel room.
