I met Mo'unga and his wife Tio through guidance at a restaurant in St. George, and we connected right away. They are from Tonga, and when we met, Tio had only been in the U.S. for three days, while Mo'unga had been here for about a year. Both are here legally, working incredibly hard—over 70 hours a week each—to build a better life. Their three children are still in Tonga, waiting for embassy approval in February so they can join their parents in America.

Mo'unga has not seen his children in over a year. He came first, working tirelessly to support his family from afar, and now Tio is here, but they both miss their children every single day. Timing is everything, and they don’t have the luxury to wait. The process to bring their children here is expensive and time-sensitive, with costs for legal paperwork, airfare, and finding a place to live together as a family.

We would love to reach our goal by February 5, 2025. This will allow enough time to arrange everything for Mo'unga and Tio, so their family can finally be together again. Your support will relieve the stress of meeting tight deadlines and give Mo'unga, Tio, and their children a place to call home. It’s a chance to help them live the American dream and give their children the opportunity for a brighter future.

But this is just the beginning. Our hope is to make this an annual tradition—helping at least one family immigrate legally to the U.S. every year. Mo'unga and Tio are excited to mentor and support the next family on their journey, creating a ripple effect of hope and opportunity.
