My name is Clare, and I'm reaching out to ask for your support in reuniting me with Yara—my beautiful Rottweiler and soulmate—who is currently in Kerala, India.
Yara came into my life nearly 7 years ago, when he was just a four-month-old pup. We've been inseparable ever since. He has been my anchor, my joy, and my healer through some incredibly difficult years. But due to complex legal and personal issues, I was recently forced to leave India and return to the UK—leaving Yara behind in the care of a kind friend.
Yara is safe and loved, but he’s used to being by my side. My friend told me today that he and a bunch of puppies took themselves to the river and back. It made me smile—but also reminded me how much he needs a proper home again. With me.
Unfortunately, international pet relocation is very expensive. The quote I’ve received for bringing Yara to the UK is around £4,000, including:
Updated vaccinations and vet checks
Rabies titer test
Flight booking and airline crate
Export/import clearances
Transport to the airport and help at the Indian side
I’ve already done the microchipping and previous rabies test back in 2021, but those documents are now out of date. This means starting again, and I need help to make it happen.
Every penny raised will go toward Yara’s safe relocation and reunion with me. If I exceed the target, any extra funds will go to help other street dogs and animal carers in Kerala—especially the friend who’s taking such loving care of Yara.
Thank you for reading, and thank you even more if you’re able to help. Even a small donation or a share means the world to me—and to Yara.
