A Special Moment That Gave Me Hope

I want to share something powerful and personal. Pat McAfee is my favorite kicker of all time — and I’m also a huge fan of his work with ESPN and WWE . I love his energy and the way he brings positivity and excitement to the world and America .I had the blessing of meeting him during the Super Bowl Fan Experience in San Francisco in February 2026. During that moment, he told me he would help me by giving my mom’s GoFundMe a shoutout.That meant everything to me.

Now I’m holding onto hope that maybe my hero comes through

My Faith Journey

I am currently in California, trying to find God during one of the hardest times in my life. I am evicted and homeless, but I still believe there is a purpose for my journey. I feel that God has brought me here for a reason — to give me a second chance at finding faith, strength, and a new beginning.

My Mission — Reuniting With My Family

I haven’t seen my mother, Fardowsa, since I was 12 years old. I’m now in my thirties . That’s nearly 20 years apart — years filled with longing, missed birthdays, and moments we can never get back. Every day, I dream of finally holding my mother again and embracing my sister. This mission is about family, love, and hope.

My Current Situation

After living in Sandy, Utah, I faced serious hardships that made my life unstable. I am now in California, doing my best to survive while staying focused on rebuilding my life. Despite being homeless, I have not given up. My determination to reunite with my family has only grown stronger.

The Goal

I want to bring my mother and sister from Kenya to America — the right way, following U.S. immigration laws. To do this, I need legal support, stable housing, and time to rebuild my life.
