Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Adriana Perez and I'm Justiniano Garcia’s wife or as people simply know him Justy. My husband was taken by ICE on October 23 on his way to work. I never imagined something like this would happen to us.

Just days before we were planing our youngest son’s birthday, he turned 2 on the the 25th of October and had to spend the day without his father present. My husband has been here for 8 years. This is his home. He is not only a husband, but a friend, a neighbor and a wonderful father. We have two beautiful boys together a 2 year old and a 3 year old, they don’t understand what’s going on but they miss their daddy every day and ask why he isn’t home. My husband is more than a case number; he is the heart of our home, the laughter in our days, and the strength behind our hope, a man who gives more than he takes, who has built a life here with integrity and grace. Today we live in fear. The threat of deportation hangs over us like a storm cloud. We are a family. And yet, the system threatens to tear us apart.

Right now, I'm doing everything I can to keep our family together and bring all of our light back into our eyes, but this has been really hard emotionally and financially; sleepless nights and taking over everything has really taken a toll on me. This has turned his and our families upside down. We are raising money to help with urgent legal

representation, filing fees, paperwork and, basic living expenses and emergency needs during this uncertain time as he was the sole provider for our family. He has always done everything right, and now he needs his community to stand by him. If you are able to donate, any amount helps. Hola a todos, gracias por tomarse el tiempo de leer esto. Me llamo Adriana Perez y soy la esposa de Justiniano García, o como todos lo conocen, Justy. Mi esposo fue detenido por ICE el 23 de octubre cuando iba camino al trabajo. Jamás imaginé que algo así nos sucedería.

Justo unos días antes estábamos planeando el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo menor, que cumplió 2 años el 25 de octubre, tuvo que pasar el día sin su padre. Mi esposo ha vivido aquí durante 8 años. Este es su hogar. No solo es mi esposo, sino también un buen amigo, vecino y un padre maravilloso. Tenemos dos hermosos hijos, uno de 2 años y otro de 3. No entienden lo que está pasando, pero extrañan a su papá todos los días y preguntan por qué no está en casa. Mi esposo es mucho más que un número de caso; Él es el corazón de nuestro hogar, la alegría de nuestros días y la fuerza que impulsa nuestra esperanza; un hombre que da más de lo que recibe, que ha construido una vida aquí con integridad y generosidad. Hoy vivimos con miedo. La amenaza de la deportación se cierne sobre nosotros como una nube de tormenta. Somos una familia. Y, sin embargo, el sistema amenaza con separarnos.

En este momento, estoy haciendo todo lo posible para mantener a nuestra familia unida y recuperar la esperanza, pero esto ha sido muy difícil, tanto emocional como económicamente; las noches sin dormir y el tener que hacerme cargo de todo me han pasado factura. Esto ha trastornado por completo a su familia y a la nuestra. Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar con la representación legal urgente, los gastos de presentación, el papeleo y los gastos básicos de subsistencia y las necesidades de emergencia durante este período de incertidumbre, ya que él era el único sustento de nuestra familia. Siempre ha hecho todo bien, y ahora necesita el apoyo de su comunidad. Si pueden donar, cualquier cantidad es bienvenida. Si no pueden contribuir económicamente, compartir esta información también sería de gran ayuda.
