Help Reunite Jose Quintanilla with His Family

Hello, my name is Ximena.

Right now, my husband, Jose Quintanilla, has been taken to the Montgomery ICE Processing Center, and I am heartbroken. He was unjustly detained during an asylum appointment, and now they are asking for an amount of money that I simply cannot afford.

Jose is the one who supports our family. I am currently unemployed, studying, and taking care of our young son on my own. Our son keeps asking for his dad, and it breaks my heart not knowing how to explain why he’s not home.

Jose came to the U.S. in 2015, fleeing threats from gang members in El Salvador. In 2019, his father was killed, It’s simply not safe for him to go back.

We are in desperate need of help to bring him home. Any donation or even just sharing our story would mean the world to us.
