We survived years of abuse from him: death threats, beatings, starvation, isolation, sleep deprivation. The therapist called it prisoners of war tactics. We were cut off from everyone, our life constantly in fear as we were controlled by this man. He was a military police officer, a civilian police officer, a security guard, and he also preached and led worship. This man is who haunted our nights. The things he got away with and still does to this day.

We have been in court over 5 years. He has used the court system to continue his abuse, to the point where now in civil court they have removed our child. We have 6 kids, and only one child, his biological child, has been removed over false accusations of me alienating his son from him and causing him to be re-traumatized.

He was only allowed supervised phone calls. These phone calls would lead to panic attacks, night terrors, and bedwetting. He was seeing therapist after therapist, being court-ordered for new therapists when they didn't get what they wanted. I have no lawyer and need this money to fight to get Jax back in our home.

I am part of the Safe at Home program to protect our home. I am part of several organizations to keep us safe. They used these things to say I was the problem and take my son Jax into state custody.

We just want him to come home. The system has failed us.
