Fernando Ayon, a devoted father and longtime member of our community, is currently detained by ICE and awaiting a bond hearing. He has lived in the United States since 2000—over two decades of hard work, fatherhood, and building a life in the only country he truly calls home. He is the father of three beautiful U.S. citizen children, and his fiancée, Yasmin Almonte, is pregnant with their fourth.

Yasmin’s pregnancy has been classified as high-risk. She is doing her best to care for their children alone while also managing serious medical complications. The stress, both emotional and financial, has become overwhelming. All she wants is for the father of her children to be home—where he belongs.
