I am raising funds for my sister Fatima Rendon, who has been detained by ICE. Fatima has always worked hard to provide for her children, and due to unforeseen events, she has now been separated from her two young sons. Fatima was brought to this country when she was only 3 years old and has resided here since. She has gone to school and has worked from the moment she received her DACA. Unfortunately, due to an error, she was denied the renewal of her DACA, and because of this, she is now possibly facing deportation. We are hoping that the immigration judge will grant her a bond to be released, even if she needs to return to Mexico voluntarily. Any amount raised will be used to cover legal fees and possibly pay a bond to see if she can be released. If for any reason she is not released, any amount raised will be used for her to travel back to Mexico and help her get started as she settles into a new life.
